I scan many news sources to provide recent articles of importance on issues pertaining to the Fresno real estate market, as well as occaisionally exchanging my own Realtor views and advice to homeowners and buyers of residential and investment properties. I encourage you to read the articles and post comments and opinions on the issues before our industry in these modern times.

Fresno Buyers Making Lower Offers in 2006!
I see many sellers hanging on to price/values they remember from last summer. There are many more homes on the market now and Fresno prices have come down a bit, but I see many homes on the market that are just "overpriced" in the Fresno market today. I see the market as still very active too for sales (if they are priced right). I 'm working with several buyers and they are buying, but they are offering less than asking rather than full price or higher. If the home is perceived to be priced too high, the buyers tend to walk away to the next available listing that is priced better and they will negotiate on that one. Bottom line is this, "you better be serious about selling" if your home is on the market in 2006. This is not a market for "fishing" for that top dollar.
